Welcome to Highters Heath Nursery School

Highters Heath Nursery School is a community where both children and adults thrive and aspirations are  built.  Our work is underpinned by a commitment to supporting well being and involvement enabling all participants to feel valued in our community.

We view our school as a learning community where a positive contribution by each individual allows us to provide a rich and challenging environment where children flourish and families feel a part of our caring school.

The expertise and commitment of the highly experienced team underpin the education of the children during their time in school and our partnership with parents enables us all to provide for the needs of each individual child during their time with us. Our learning environment provides the support and challenge young children need in order for them to thrive and be prepared for the next stage in their learning journey when they move onto primary school.

Our values are underpinned by the principle held with a well known African proverb.  “It takes a whole village to educate a child”

We place great importance on the well being of children and the characteristics that they need in order to develop a love of learning.
