Our Governing Board meet approximately every half term, usually in the evening. The role of the Governors is to provide strategic steering and guidance, and to challenge and ensure the school and Head Teacher are held to account. Governors often take a supportive role but are a step removed from the general day-to-day running of the school.
Each member of our Governing Board has a specific role or responsibility which they take an extra focus on in the school, such as Safeguarding, Pupil Premium, Special Educational Needs or Finance/Premises. Governors visit school regularly and attend parent events so that they can talk to families and take feedback.
