At Highters Heath Nursery School we offer a supportive and inclusive setting for any child who joins us, regardless of any additional or specific needs. We have a shared expectation that all students should be offered inclusive teaching which will enable them to make the best possible progress and feel that they are a valued member of our school community. Our staff have experience of working with children with a broad range of needs and are skilled at making any necessary adaptations.
We are a highly inclusive school and work to support children and families through any challenges they may face. We have an open-door policy and our Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO), Lauren Davidson, is available for help, advice, or to talk through any concerns you may have. You can contact her by email via enquiry@hiheathn.bham.sch.uk and marking your email FAO: SENCO.
At Highters Heath Nursery School we work closely with a range of external agencies in order to tailor the best possible provision for your child. These include Educational Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Communication & Autism Team, Physiotherapy, Health Visitors and Hospital teams where necessary.
